Traveling to the territory of a foreign country for the purpose of vacation or visiting relatives is a common occurrence for many pensioners. Before the trip, it is mandatory to issue a document with which you can verify the identity of a citizen outside the Russian Federation. Obtaining a passport in the Russian Federation: rules
Any interested Russian can independently apply for a foreign passport. The corresponding applications are submitted to the Main Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation or to territorial Multifunctional Centers. A pensioner can receive a foreign passport under standard conditions. The main list of documentation is not affected by the age of the applicant. The citizen must independently choose the most acceptable option for him. ID cards are produced in two versions: classic and biometric.

- new passport of a minor child;
- parents' passports, including details of the minor child;
- birth certificate with the following information:
- a note about the Russian citizenship of the parent;

- a mark affixed to the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation, a consulate or a diplomatic mission;
- insert for a document received in another country and confirming birth registration, or for a certificate confirming Russian citizenship and issued before 02/06/2007;
- receipt of payment of state duty;
- two photographs 35×45 mm (matte, color).
Documents for obtaining a passport for a child aged 14-18 years :
- application for a passport for a minor;
- passport;
- ID of the parent or guardian;
- documents proving the right of an official representative (birth certificate or act from the guardianship authorities establishing guardianship);
- receipt of payment of state duty;
- two photographs 35x45 mm (matte, color).
A set of documents along with the application is personally submitted by a legal representative (parent, official guardian, trustee). The presence of the child is necessary.

The main document is the application form. Filling is done by hand with a simple blue ballpoint pen or on a computer. All information must be entered strictly in printed and capital letters. Corrections are prohibited. A certain set of data must be indicated.

- for a foreign passport with electronic media for children under 14 years old – 1,500 rubles;
- when making changes to a foreign passport – 500 rubles.
It should be noted that it is not necessary to submit a receipt for payment of the state duty with all documents, but the lack of information about its payment is a reason for refusing to issue the document.

- for men aged 18-27 years - a military man with a mark of completion of service or with the mark “unfit” (“limited fit”), or a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office stating that the applicant is not called up for military service.
