How to fill out an application for a temporary residence permit for a citizen of Kyrgyzstan?

Normative base

Foreigners temporarily arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation are subject to registration at the place of stay (Article 7 of Law No. 109-FZ).

Foreigners are required to leave Russia if their visa expires or their residence permit expires, except in cases of obtaining a temporary residence permit or temporary residence permit or filing an application for temporary residence permit and temporary residence permit (Article 5 of Law No. 115-FZ).

The procedure for providing temporary residence permits to foreigners is established by the Administrative Regulations approved by Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 891.

Features of obtaining a temporary residence permit

Every foreigner applying for a temporary residence permit is required to undergo a medical examination. Moreover, all medical certificates confirming the absence of diseases must be obtained from medical institutions included in the approved list of authorized medical organizations within a month after submitting the application.

When receiving a temporary residence permit, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan must undergo dactyloscopic registration (fingerprinting).

The temporary residence permit is valid for 3 years; every year the migration authority must confirm residence on the territory of the Russian Federation by submitting a notification.

In the event that the validity period of the temporary residence permit is coming to an end, and the application for a residence permit or citizenship has not been submitted, you must leave the Russian Federation and go through the procedure for obtaining a temporary residence permit again.

Important! Extension of temporary residence permit is impossible! After the expiration of the period, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan is required to submit documents for a residence permit or obtain citizenship!

RVP received: what next?

When a foreigner receives a passport with a mark on a temporary residence permit in Russia, he should quickly acquire an official Russian address (this means registration at the place of residence or, in extreme cases, migration registration), for which the current legislation gives him exactly seven days .

A similar period is provided for compatriots moving to the country who received a temporary residence permit abroad, only in their case the starting date becomes the day of arrival in the region where they plan to live.

But that is not all.

Every year, a foreigner will have to visit the territorial unit of the Main Department of Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and document his income from legal sources. It would not be superfluous to simultaneously think about your next steps towards legalization - about obtaining a residence permit or, if there are legal grounds, citizenship.

We invite those who have become the holder of a permit to find out what to do after receiving a temporary residence permit.
