Citizens of Uzbekistan left Russia for their homeland

Previously, it was repeatedly said that citizens of Uzbekistan are actively traveling to the Samara region to try to leave for their homeland. A temporary accommodation point has been made here. To prevent migrant workers from arriving en masse, checkpoints have been restored at the entrances to the region.

Removal work is controlled by the federal government, which has created a special group. 10 trains with migrants have already been sent to Uzbekistan. Several more flights are expected.

A total of 10,000 people have been removed from the region since May. In September, another 3,500 citizens were sent. In addition, 150 passengers left on the plane two weeks ago.

The first time such problems began near Samara was at the end of spring. Then migrants from different Asian countries began to arrive at the border of Russia and Kazakhstan. They read somewhere that the borders had opened, but did not check whether this was actually true. As a result, 1000 citizens accumulated in Bolshaya Chernigovka. In those places, the authorities had to organize tent cities. People were brought food and water. They were also given personal protective equipment.

Afterwards, some categories were given the go-ahead to travel to their homeland through Kazakhstan. But such an action was a one-off, no one else could take advantage of it. Afterwards, the authorities began to organize export flights. There were no attempts to break through the border; there was a friendly, calm atmosphere in the tent camp. Except that people are tired of waiting.
