Study in Italy: secondary education

Schoolchildren receive secondary education in private boarding schools or international colleges. Children spend 5 years in primary school: they study subjects such as mathematics, reading, writing, drawing, and music. During this period, children from abroad adapt to the new environment. In the middle classes, children study until the age of 14 and study subjects such as Italian, geography, art, music, and at the end of this stage, students also face exams and a certificate of secondary education. After graduating from school, the preparatory stage begins for admission to universities, which can be completed in several types of lyceums: classical, technical lyceum, natural sciences.

Why go to study in Italy

There are restless people in whom the spirit of a traveler has been sitting since birth, forcing them to leave their homeland under various pretexts (such as work or study). Some people mistakenly believe that studying at a European school or university, in particular an Italian one, is easier than studying in a Russian one.

This is a wrong opinion! The quotation of Italian universities is high. For example, some of the best economic universities in Europe are located:

  • Bologna;
  • Padua;
  • Siena;
  • Milan (Bocconi University);
  • Venice.

For those eager to receive the best design and architectural education by world standards, rating centers recommend enrolling in:

  • To the Politecnico di Milano;
  • Venice Institute of Architecture;
  • Roma Tre University in Rome;
  • European Institute of Design, which has branches in many cities in Italy.
  • University of Trieste.
