  • after six months the person again receives the right to stay in the country without a visa for 3 months;
  • if in the last six months a citizen extended his stay, then in this period the period will be reduced;
  • if the visitor is in the country illegally, the visitor faces a fine of up to $40 and the next time they may be denied visa-free entry into the territory of the state.

Required documents

To obtain an entry permit, you must collect the following package of documents:

  • a foreign passport, which will be valid for another six months after the trip;
  • return ticket indicating the departure date;
  • if a trip to Argentina is for transit purposes, the final country of visit must be indicated on the ticket;
  • tourist package with hotel room reservation;
  • when traveling by train to friends or relatives, an invitation and their residential address are required;
  • a bank statement that shows the financial situation of the tourist.

Documents for children

When traveling to the country with children, you will need to prove your relationship with the parents. The main document in this case is the minor’s birth certificate. In addition, the child’s information must be indicated in the civil passport of the mother and father.

If a child travels to the country alone, then you need to obtain permission to travel abroad and have it certified by a notary. This document needs to be translated into Spanish.

Visa to Argentina for Belarusians and Ukrainians

For citizens of Ukraine and Belarus entering the country for the purpose of tourism for up to 90 days, a visa to Argentina is NOT required!

Citizens of Ukraine and Belarus who are holders of general passports can enter, transit and stay in Argentina for up to 90 days a year without a visa.

At the border with Argentina, you will need a foreign passport, which expires no earlier than 6 months from the date of arrival, and a return air ticket. A return ticket with an open date is not suitable for obtaining a work visa.
