Visa-free entry
A visa to Mongolia for Russians in 2021 is not needed only if the plans are for a trip lasting no more than one month, and the purpose of the visit can be any. For visas “HG”, “H”, “S”, “O”, “TS” you need:

For transit:

All citizens who intend to stay in the country for more than 30 days must register with the Agency for Citizenship and Naturalization. Seven days are allotted for this event.
