You only have to wait 10 days: a new electronic permit will be issued within this period.

I personally encountered a similar problem: deadlines were running out, I had to urgently go to Donetsk. I left as soon as I saw my permit on the SBU website.

However, when crossing the Ukrainian checkpoint, I had to deal with the SBU officer on duty there: my pass did not show up on the border guards’ computer, for the life of me. The seemingly hopeless situation was saved by my old paper pass to the ATO zone, which was found in the cover of my passport.

Important warning. A light press of the single “Resubmit” button is a preference exclusively for those who have not had any changes in their personal data during the year that were reflected in previously submitted documents.

Regarding this, I even had to contact the SBU hotline, where they explained to me that if everything in the documents is the same, then there is no need to worry about the download. So, don't waste your time.

But, let’s say, the name in the passport has changed, or the reason for traveling to the ATO zone has changed. Then you need to take care of making amendments to your documents reflected on the SBU website.

And new electronic copies of certificates with corrected data will come in handy in such cases.
